I think it is about time I start documenting my workflow for a project I have been researching into for quite some time now. It is my intention to start contributing to the game art community through YouTube videos, so I might as well break the ice with a look into my initial blockout and terrain generation techniques. I am keen to offer my insights in addition to receiving invaluable critique.
For now, here are some crude screenshots of the modular Himalayan village I am blocking-out. At the moment, composition, scale, and balance are of primary focus. Aesthetics will follow later.
